Mic not working properly after 2.2 update

Mic not working properly after 2.2 update

i ran the 2.2 update over the weekend and from then on the mic doesn't work when I make a phone call. I can hear other people but they can't hear me. i can only use the headset for calls.

i googled the issue and found others wuth the same problem but
no solution. upgrading agian didn't solve the problem.
