    Default iphone firmware

    ok i just bout a iphone off of ebay, this is my second one first unlocked fine (bout it new from apple store so i knew the firmware) but im having quite the trouble with this one. could anyone on here tell me how to tell what firmware im running on without an att sim card?

    Go to settings, then go to general, then go to about, and your fw should be listed as "version".

    Yup, unless you mean the phone isnt activated. Then, the only way to tell is placing into DFU and restoring it to the latest FW...then you'll know for sure.
