    Default Quickie Jailbreak 2.2

    Hi
    Just a very quick post...
I bought a 3G the Weekend in UK. 2.1 Out the Box...Stupidly just did an upgrade to 2.2 from ITunes...
I wanna Jailbreak but think I'm right i that I've upgraded the baseband? I'm not fussed at unlocking it if that becomes available in the future...
So, can I downgrade to 2.1 & then follow the 2.1 jailbreak guides?
    Cheers
    Very basic question I know...
    Thankyou for any advice

You can jailbreak 2.2 with pwnage or quickpwn/winpwn. its the unlocking youll have problems with if you use windows because thats the one that upgrades the baseband.

as for downgrading, not sure if thats a possibility right now, think people are still working on it for the 3G, but sit tight, shouldnt be too long.

Im going to piggie back on this thread. I went from 1st gen 2g 2.1 to 2.2 with pwn for mac and it said it was jailbroken .. im using 2.2 now but it seems to not be jailbroken because i can only install apps from the app store, the installer sources and cydia are very limited or dont work.. so is it not really jail broken?
