Need help, please!

I have a 2G iPhone and it had a 2.1 jailbroken program. I decided to upgrade it to the new 2.2 version. I did upgrade to 2.2 using iTunes and tried to jailbrake it using Quickpwn2.2
When the Quickpwn2.2 was done (finished) jailbraking it my iPhone went to reboot and all that it shows now is a white apple and does not do anything else. Can someone please help me fixing my iPhone? Thank you in advance. George.

Put it into DFU mode and do a clean restore to 2.2. You very well may have restored from a corrupt backup, or the update just didn't like whatever you were previously running on 2.2...
