Problems after Jailbreaking 2.2

I'm on Windows Vista and I just upgraded my iPhone 3G to FW 2.2 then used QuickPwn to Jailbreak it.

Problem I'm having is that no Apps are appearing on my homescreen after I download them from Cydia...
This might be a problem with the Categories app.
I did have all my Apps organised into folders...including the Categories App, and that won't even show up on the Home Screen.

Just noticed that iTunes isn't even Syncing my AppStore apps onto my iPhone...wtf

open bossprefs and then poof (at the bottom). check and see if the categories folders are hidden.
