Upgrading question?
I'm currently running 2.1FW on my 1g Iphone... I used QuickPwn to hack it and I got all my contacts, pictures, cydia and some apps downloaded, and songs and all that. I want to go to 2.2FW but I dont want to lose all my stuff and have to reload it for like the 4th time. Can anyone give me a brief walkthrough on how to do this. There are a bunch of apps I want to get but they are for 2.2FW. Please anyone?

Thanks, the helped a bit. Ive read through those walkthroughs and downloaded the new 2.2 FW file....
My next question is this.... It says NOT TO USE Quickpwn and TO USE PwnTools or something but the link they provided isn't an EXE file and I can't figure out what I'm suppost to do.
I got 2.0.2 FW currently, using Tmobile.. and I've downloaded AptBackup and already backed it up. I need to make sure I'm doing this currently. Can anyone help?

It says not to use Quickpwn on 3G phones if you want a future software unlock because of a baseband update with FW2.2. But FW2.2 for 1st gen iphones doesn't include a baseband update, so Quickpwn is ok to use, the unlock remains. Sounds like your on Windows, only option for right now is Quickpwn. Look at the bottom of this post link for downloads.
