So, I have a 1st Gen iPhone running 2.1 firmware. I want to upgrade to 2.2, using this guide blog.iphone-dev.org | The man from DelMonte - He say Yes! (QuickPWN).

Question: Will I lose all the 3rd party apps installed via Cydia, and will I have to re-install them? I tried to find a FAQ that addressed this, but no such luck. My hunch is yes, but I should know for sure before I do anything rash.
