Is My Iphone Offically Done With? Unfixable?

idk what to do. every time i turn it on it goes to the home screen and at the top left it says "searching", i cant do anything but hard reset it. at this point it wont charge the phone and doesnt recognize any cables/USB's. when the battery is done for, then it recohnizes the USB but at this point i cant go into DFU mode or anything, and as soon as it has enough battery to start the iphone, it starts up and freezes again, so YEAH.......

ive got the old iphone, firmware 1.1.3

I would keep trying to get the phone in DFU mode and then restore or updated.

I've seen this problem before. Very strange behavior. The problem is solved by getting the phone into DFU mode. Make sure to not count too fast to 10 seconds.
