Help needed! Settings wont open for 1.1.4

Hi all..i need your help, i have been having this trouble since last week, everytime i go into settings, the phone will freeze, its really annoying since i cant turn on my wifi and such, PLEASE HELP!Thanks in advance!

Can you think of anything you did/downloaded last week that may have caused the problem?

Have you tried Restoring the phone?

thanks for your reply, i think ive deleted the region patch, however i cant turn on my wifi so i cant reinstall it, im scared to restore it using itunes as im worried my jailbroken will be locked?

No worries.

Make sure you do a back-up of your phone 1st, and follow the instructions carefully (that's where a lot of people go wrong). Also have a read of the comments on the above site beforehand.

Let us know if it all works out (which I'm sure it will) and enjoy the App Store/Cydia etc.

will def give it a go..downloading the files now, hope it works with 1.1.4 and do you think i can access the settings after the upgrade?

It'll upgrade you to 2.2 which isn't a bad thing - there's so much more on 2.2 than 1.1.4!

My phone started life as 1.1.2 and I'm thrilled with what I can do with it now.

lol, your phone is like a virgin again, lol going from 1.14 to 2.2 thats a pretty big jump. i have a feeling u been playing it all day. lol. 1 thing u must do, download boss pref click more (on right hand corner top) then click on disable apple kill switch.

So going from 1.1.4 to 2.2 you now need to also download Winterboard (from Cydia) and then you can really get to know your iPhone!
