Any help is greatly appreciated. Here are the steps that I have done.

I have shift-restored my iPhone 2g to 2.2

I get the “SIM card not supported” message because I have my T-Mobile SIM inside.

I close iTunes

I open QuickPwn 22-1

I insert iPhone 1,1_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw and hit Next

I check Unlock phone and hit Next

I insert 3.9 and 4.6 bootloaders and hit Next

I hit Next and it says “Wait for your iPhone to connect in Recovery Mode…” and is stuck there. The activity wheel thing spins while it says “Preparing your device – please follow the instructions above.” The thing is is that it never passes the first step.

My iPhone shows the usb to iTunes graphic.

What am I doing wrong? I’ve jailbroken all the previous versions over the year just fine. Thanks in advance!


EDIT: I fixed it by switching computers.

manually put the phone into recovery mode, while it still quickpwn running.
