Cydia crashing back to springboard after update 2.2 JB...?

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right category, but here goes:

I have an iPhone 3G, and was running 2.1 JB fine. I updated to 2.2, then jailbreaked it (all factory settings, no backup restore), and every time I go to open Cydia, it gives me the GUI/CMD/Developer option, but all three cause it to close Cydia and return back to the springboard.

I tried re-jailbreaking it all over, but it's the same problem. Installer works fine...so I think it might be a permissions issue. Unfortunately, I don't have mobile terminal installed, so don't seem to have any way of changing the permissions IF that is the cause of the problem.

Please help

i have the same problem with my 2G iphone. unfortunately for me, i did not install installer, so i can't install mobile terminal or boss prefs to fix permissions...

Just to update- I restored to factory 2.2, then jailbreaked with PwnageTool, then repwned with QuickPwn, and Cydia works

Looking on the dev website, it seems that we weren't the only ones with Cydia crashing after 2.2 ...QuickPwn seems to work for everyone else too...
