QuickPWN 2.2 not working!!!

Hello,

I have a jailbroken 2.1 3G iPhone and wanted to update to 2.2 using quickPWN. When I try to it gives me a message:

"The firmware installed on your iPhone 3G is not supported by QuickPWN, please check our website for further information."

When I go to the website I cannot find any information on it.

Why is this and is there anything I can do to still use QuickPWN. I did not want to have to use Pwnage Tool 2.2 because I didn't want to have to re-install all of my music, apps, etc.

You can't Update via Quickpwn its for jailbreaking not Updating-

Read the jailbreaking directions next time.

if u want any chance to software unlock your 3g in the future do not use quickpwn for 3g. quickpwn will update your baseband, which the firmware update for 3g have update baseband. u must use pwnage tool, or have someone build you a custom firmware for u. and i may read it wrong, but quickpwn does not update your firmware itune would have to. search for iphone dev team website, and many other more, theres warning message, everywhere to tell people do not update 3g to 2.2 if u want a chance to unlock and 2.2 will make you sim adapter stop working. even if u want to keep it lock, if u ever want to sell it, a unlock phone worth more money then locked one. but thats your choice, if u need tuturial i can post you one, if not u can also go to clarified website to read up.

So I have to use Pwnage Tool 2.2 with the downloaded 2.2 firmware? Is this my only option? I could have swore I updated 2.0 to 2.1 with QuickPWN but I guess not. I just didn't want to have to reinstall all of my apps, etc.

OK I have tried jailbreaking my 3G iPhone 7 times in three days and it wont work. I DO NOT care about a soft unlock so I went to iTunes and updated to 2.2 and downloaded Quickpwn 2.2 for Windows and ran it. It gets to the Prepareing iPhone screen and freezes saying 'Wiat while iPhone connects in Recovery Mode" but no steps appear. I have tried putting in recovery mode myself manually, I have tried waiting for it to unfreeze itself, I have tried updating services running through windows as suggested in another blog and nothing works every time I try to jailbreak it freezes at that screen and I have to restore it in iTunes which is irritating as hell after the 5th time. CAN SOMEONE HELP! and by help I mean a solution that works not a bunch of comments about how you got it to work fine and cant see why im having a problem...CUS THAT DOESNT HELP ME.
