2.2 jailbreak users: how is the performance??

I recently upgraded my firmware to 2.2, and my phone is amazingly fast, responsive, and reliable. My question to jailbroken users, are you having any lag or reliability issues? Thanks!

No performance issues here. Of course, I've not installed Winterboard. No withdrawal symptoms yet .

Seems to be just as fast as it was with 2.1. My email app crashes every time when launched, however, which kinda blowz.

install SBsettings, open it up by swipping the status bar, goto more>xtra's>dir fix

this will solve your email app crashing.

Everything seems a bit snappier even with a few extra apps installed and all my old Winterboard stuff.

i have a little bit of lag any time a keyboard pops up... after the first couple of characters typed, the lag goes away though. just kinda frustrating since i never had this issue with 2.1 jailbreak.

and the new podcaster is totally fux0red. crashes immediately upon opening every time. the new podcast function in itunes sucks since you cant bookmark any podcasts, or at least i havent found a way to so far.

Response time is definitely a big improvement->2.0.1...BTW does any1 know how I can fix the caller id problem,I'm not in the US. I had a fix for my previous firmware but it does not work on 2.2 it seems.

I personally have found my 3G to be much more responsive. I do not see any performance issues and I have winterboard, sbsettings, many appstore apps and games, and much more installed. I thought I would never say this, but though there still isn't copy and paste, turn by turn, or MMS, I am very happy with 2.2.

Safari is much improved.

I tried to load large pages in 2.1fw before and if I scroll down to the bottom of the page Safari would crash. This doesn't happen in 2.2fw.

My SMS, contacts, settings and mail apps load much faster... It's only been a day so I can't report on battery life yet. So far so good on 2.2!

Well folks I live in the UK? Northern Ireland to eb exact and with the carrier O2. I installed everything as per the 2.2 upgrade using a custom firmware and not apples. Anyway after the 2.2 upgreade I was all excited so much so I nearly pissed my pants well my excitment was short lived as my phone wouldn't even pick up a signal so was like an ipod touch, lol.. Anyway I just did a 2.1 restore and now i'm back to the place I was last night jailbroken 2.1 all over again any pointers please from someone who lives in the UK who is on O2 network maybe thsi jailbreak is only compatible with the Guys from the Good Auld U.S. of A.. WHO ARE ON AT&T.
