    Default Quickpwn/Pwnage Tool/Baseband Question

I am curious as to how you can create an ispw file in Pwnage Tool that doesn't effect your baseband where while using Quickpwn it does.

I am a Windows user so I have never used Pwnage Tool. Can someone please explain?

Quickpwn is a two step process: first you update using itunes with the vanilla update package, and second, you use quickown to jailbreak. Because the first step uses apple's update package, it updates the baseband.

Using pwnage tool, you create a custom update package and then update and jailbreak at the same time using itunes -- here, you never use Apple's package, so you're ok.

So Pwnage Tool removes the baseband update from the custom package before you install it on your phone then? Why can't Quickpwn for Windows do this?
