Upgrading from 2.0.1 to 2.1 need help!

Aight guys ive decided to upgrade to 2.1 and rehack my phone only problem is im kinda lost i see that there are several ways to do it.......

I think i would rather have my iphone swiped clean cause im having alot of bugs and errors.. i cant even change my backround for my phone and many more.

So which way can i swipe my iphone clean and upgrade to reg 2.1 and then hack it so i can have cydia and installer.

i only have 4 more hours to do this at work can someone please help

step 1 , set it up as a NEW phone, do a normal install in itunes.
step 2 , quickpwn it.

and you are done.

Ok but everytime i try to download quickpwn 2.1 it has a trojan in it

why not get it from the source (the team)?

did you check the SHA1 sums?

ask around, someone will send you the version they used!

quickpwn wont even open on the computer and i think it has something to do with avg finding a tojan on it. ive downloaded it from several places all come up witht he same thing

if you checked the sha1, it's probably a FALSE positive.

can i do the same thing but using the quick way they have here on the forums... where i just download a custom 2.1 and put it on the orig 2.1?
