    Default turn iPhone into iPod Touch???

    Is it possible to turn a 2G iPhone into an iPod Touch? I know, its different hardware...but if I was to flash it with the iPod Touch's firmware, would it work?

    I don't see why you would want to do that? You can just disable EDGE and Phone on the iPhone, and download the iTouch icons from Cydia.....

    I was actually wondering the opposite. Is it possible to put iphone firmware on the ipod touch? I know I wont be able to make calls or anything, but I'm kinda peeved that the 2.2 firmware's street view is only for iphones!
