I want to share my experience when I downgraded my 2.1 to 1.1.4, well, first every thing was okay until step 10 from the tutorial, I was unable to unlock using iLiberty+ so I said to myself why I don't use ziphone, I used it and I was able to unlock the phone after I switched my device to restore mode, but there was no installer, so I went back to itunes and restored to the firmware 1.1.4 another time, after that I was able to unlock the phone using iLiberty+ with the installer.

I don't know if this will be helpful for anyone, but It worked with me.
and thanks for the tutorial.
