windows error ??? help please

hi, i get to the bit where i hold the power and home buttons etc.., it tells me it was succesfull, then a windows box comes up and says..it detected a problem with the program?? then tells me to close program,
i am on vista and trying to go from 1.1.4 to 2.1...HELP please thanks

I actually had this happen to me this wekend when I re-jailbroke my 3G and jailbroke a replacement 2G. What I recently discovered with many programs, is that when you get that "detected a problem needs to close" message, you can IGNORE it. I moved the window to the side of my screen and let the program keep working.DOnt click on any of the boxes, just drag the window out of the way by clicking on the top bar. In some cases the program has stopped responding, but in the case of Quickpwn, it kept right on going and finished the jailbreak, quite successfully. After my phone was jailbroken and I saw the Cydia icon on the screen I got rid of the error box.
