    Unhappy Please help!!!!!!

okay so i got a new 3g iphone from my neighbor for free!!!....the only catch was that it has a blank white screen. Okay I tried downgrading, restoring, and anything else I can find on google but none of it WORKS! Okay when I turn the iPhone on it shows no apple or anything the only thing it does is light up to a blank white screen. On some occasions it goes into a thin black and white striped screen but that's all the action I get from this phone. If anybody has had this problem and found a solution to it I would be happy to try it. Worst case scenario I will take it back to my neighbor but if anybody has any other ideas about what to do I would like to hear them. .

Will Itunes recognize the phone at all?

If not, you could TRY placing it into DFU mode and restoring.

But im pretty sure its TOAST.

Don't know why your friend gave you a phone that he could of refurbed to apple and gotten a new one. But hey.

Either way, like CPJR said, look up instructions and put it into DFU mode and try that.

If not PM me and I will take it.
