first generation iphone with 2.1 firmware...UNLOCKED?

Is it possible to unlock a first generation iphone with 2.1 firmware? If so can someone point in the right direction to get this done.

I have someone claiming to have done this and he wants to sell me his phone.

yes it is... the question is what do you use? Mac or PC?
Find quickpwn (just do a search) and you will be on your way (it gives you step by step instructions when you load it)

i have quickpwn i was going to jailbreak my phone a while back. but i wasn't aware you could unlock it and keep 2.1 firmware. i'll give it a looksy

the phone i was talking to this guy about is for a friend on t-mobile.

I wasted my time and it does not unlock the phone to be used with any carrier; it just jailbreaks it. Any help ???

yes it is easy just use the pwnage tool if you are on a mac, or the quickpwn if you are on a pc. Search them on google to download them

it does not unlock the phone ! Only jailbreaks it...
