How to have a blazing fast jailbroken phone
1- SSH in to your phone and copy the entire /Users/Library folder to your computer
2- do a full fresh restore on your phone
3- set up as new phone in iTunes, do NOT restore from backup. Sync your mail and bookmarks.
4- quickpwn your phone. This is very important, do not use pwnage. I have ran this experiment 10 times on 2 phones for 2 days..... pwnage CFW slows the system down. quickpwn is the fastest operating jailbreak by far.
5- Go into Cydia and get your phone set up with OpenSSH.
6- Connect through open SSH to your phone and navigate to your /Users/Library folder.
7- Replace the mail, sms, safari, weather, addressbook, and call history folders with the one from your computer.
You're done. You've got all the call history, SMS, bookmarks and history from the web (even the cookies), mail, contacts, and you don't even have to set your weather back up. Everything is just like it was, but you are on a fresh install and your phone will be noticeably faster.
Enjoy

Just did both my phones, much better..... I've been tweaking this for a few days. Remember to let everything make it's "first run" to load the cache files.

You don't have to uninstall winterboard. If you do exactly what I said you can run nearly anything you want within reason.
Here's the proof...........
This phone has blackout system theme, apple battery, no page dots, custom wallapaper, macbook air keyboard, black nav bars, and several other things installed in winterboard, all turned on.
Over 50 applications from the app store.
Over 35 packages from cydia.
.....and if you have a really sharp eye, you'll notice intelliscreen running also.
Now............... watch this..........

Thanks for the tip man, before I try... is there anything special inregards to just doing a restore and using winpwn to jailbreak again? I just got my iPhone last week and jailbroke it with winpwn first thing and it is terribly slow, everything is a huge lag and just trying to make a phone call takes me 30 seconds or more and i really wished it was faster, plus my battery doesnt even last maybe 5 hours in standby mode. This weekend I restored the phone back to factory with no backup and then jailbroke the phone again and still haven't seen it get any faster. Does copying over the folder do something extra then what I have already done so far?

^^Read the instructions better. Its winpwn (pwnage is MacOS equivalent) that causes a lag.
Using QUICKPWN should speed the system up a bit. Moving those files only allows you to SAVE some of your content.

I am sorry quickpwn was what I was using and did the restore with previously but had no luck with speeding anything up. I am wondering if he had all of those apps he should in the video already loaded with backgrounder running on those apps? If so, thats still blazing fast but I wished my iPhone was that quick.
