^^Read the instructions better. Its winpwn (pwnage is MacOS equivalent) that causes a lag.

Using QUICKPWN should speed the system up a bit. Moving those files only allows you to SAVE some of your content.

I am sorry quickpwn was what I was using and did the restore with previously but had no luck with speeding anything up. I am wondering if he had all of those apps he should in the video already loaded with backgrounder running on those apps? If so, thats still blazing fast but I wished my iPhone was that quick.

First off, you're supposed to be using quickpwn for this method, not winpwn.
Secondly, if your battery life is that bad you might want to look into a replacement battery. (This is of course assuming that it does actually suck, and that you're not weighing it down with constantly running applications.)

We'll I have to say I have watched this thread over the past couple weeks and was a huge doubter that this was going to work. I have had horrible speed problems after upgrading and it got so bad that it would take me almost 10-20 seconds each time to open up the camera to take a picture or to respond to text messages and to load up my email took forever. I was sooo frustrated, so I almost went back to non-jailbroken but decided i would try this tonight and give it one last shot.

If you follow his instructions this FIXES THE SPEED PROBLEMS!!!!!!! WOW, its back to blazingly fast and I can't thank you enough. Everything loads up instantly like it was not even jailbroken before.

Thanks so much!

Now if I can only figure out why the battery doesn't last any longer then 6-7 hours simply sitting in my pocket with no wifi, location services, or 3g!! battery sucks, I will see if this helps any with the battery as well.

i'm going ot have to look into this.

I just refreshed my old 2G with a clean install of 2.1, i ran pwnage. unlocked (no sim card, but i was pleased to find out, if i can use the sim from my 3G on my 2G) nevermind that but

i did notice it was MUCH faster then my 3G which is also 2.1 jailbroken using winpwn.

so your suggesting that quickpwn will make it even faster? i might try it out later

I just did this today and I have noticeably faster apps. I still am fully themes with Winterboard, many ape installed, five icon dock and categories.

Sprint also has a habit of deactivating entire accounts AND phones if you clone your phone and they catch both phones turned on (even at idle) at the same time.
