i just jailbroke my 3g iphone yesterday i have firmware version 2.1 and i used quickpwn.. everything seems to work fine its just when i try to go to the green phone button the dial pad comes up and freezes up.. then returns me back to the home screen.. what can i do to fix this problem?re-pwn maybe? please help!! thanks

yeah try a re-pwn... what have you added to your phone, anything? (apps, mods, etc.)

yeah i tried repwning it but it didnt seem to do anything i restored it though and everythings good.. do you know of any winpwn verson that does 2.1 firmware? i think i might have just gotten a corrupted file with the quickpwn so i really dont wanna use it again unless someone can confirm a place thats legit to download from..

im having the same problem as well, only after it doesnt occur until after i install winterboard...

I had to uninstall kate myself from installer. Dialpad worked perfect then.

I had the same problem with my dialpad, and for the life of me could not understand, i thought it was from a theme i installed....i got the tip from here about uninstalling kate, so i did, and it works great now. So thanks again....a million thanks...

This is the same thing that happened to me... kate seems to be more trouble than it's worth

im having the same issues and i uninstalled kate and its still not working does anyone have any ideas

I had same problem on sunday and ended up doing a full restore back to v2.0.2 did not realise kate was the prob!!

on the upside I have now upgraded to v2.2 and everything is working fine...just happy I read this before re-installing kate!!
