Quick question about QuickPwn

I am just a little confused about one thing. Can I use QucikPwn to use the iPhone on Tmobile USA? I currently use WinPwn and create a custom firmware, then restore. But if I can use QuickPwn and it will end up being the same in the end. That would be nicer, since I have heard QuickPwn is much faster.

I have googled it, but I can't find out exactly what I want to know. I have already used winpwn to jailbreak and unlock it, with 2.0.2, itunes 7, and winpwn 2.5. My question is, when winpwn or quickpwn for windows is updated for 2.1 firmware. Is it safe to update my firmware through itunes 8 ( the normal way, no custom firmware ) , and then use quickpwn? Or will that break it totally? Would quickpwn work for T-Mobile USA?
