I jail broke my phone using winpwn 2.5. Things worked fine, but I wanted to go back to factory settings. While it was restoring ITUNES said an unexpected error occured. Now ITUNES will not recognize my phone, and the DFW mode does not initiate. When I turn the phone on, I get the IPWNED screen for 15 seconds, then the apple linux screen. Nothing more, nothing less... Is there anything I can do, or am I hooped?

Oh and I had firmware version 2.2

DFU mode completely bypasses the installed software, you're probably not pressing and releasing the buttons at the proper time

Btw you didn't unlock, you jailbroke. it's DFU not DFW. and you had 2.02 not 2.2

well, its not starting up at all now, i think the battery may have died... My wall chargers @ work, so I guess I'll have to try again tommarow

Have you tried using a different USB port, then rebooting ur PC with the phone still connected? worth a shot.

It wont charge off the computer, or xbox 360

I rebooted the comp and ITUNES picked up the phone as in DFU mode, it restored the seetings to factory presets.

Make sure you have it actually in DFU mode.
