Could not add this page to the home screen because an error occurred

After successfully jailbreaking my 1.1.3 firmware phone using the ziphone method.


I lost the ability to add icons to my homescreen. This was due to me previously trying to jailbreak using the (1) nate trues, then (2) dev team with NO SUCCESS.

In the end my backup file got corrupted and I was unable to add webclip bookmarks OR take photos. They came out blank.


Easiest fix for me was to make sure all my photos, contacts, etc were sync to the computer, RESTORE, then setup as NEW PHONE, then RESYNC my pictures/contacts.

1 - Access to iPhone from SSH
2 - Go to /private/var/mobile/Library/WebClips
3 - Cick on Webclips Folder, Get Info/Properties and modify Permissions to : 777 ( in PC) and 7777 (in Mac)
4 - Restart your Iphone

WebClips are ON Again!!!!!

( and in the case that you made a bookmark and cannot delete it , just look inside WebClips Folder, and edit info.plist or delete via ftp. )
