Which version of Windows? XP or Vista? It makes a difference! It's in the user data so XP Documents and Settings / Your User Name / Application Data Applesomething or vista Users / Your User Name / errhunt.

Sorry, can't be more precise you will have to keep searching dirs in there till you find it, I'm on OSX Leopard now and can't really be bothered re-booting to Vista to pinpoint the location, but it is pretty easy to find.

You have to enable "show hidden folders" option. In the top of the window click tools>folder options> and click on the view tab. It should be near the top.

Go to folder options in control panel and unhide your files.

I have an iPod touch 4G. I downloaded iOS 4.3.5 and 4.3.3 (I have a iTunes actualized to 4.3.5) and both iOs appeared as Quick time player files, so when I use the redsnow the iPSW file does not appear. Why is this happening?

You have to browse to the ipsw, IE will change the extension from .ipsw to zip. So just rename the extension from .zip to .ipsw.

ipsw file is usually hidden by default, if someone is still having trouble locating it, try this, it worked for me.
