upgrading from 1.0.2

I tried searching thread for upgrading from 1.0.2 but nothign came up. I was really trying to avoid starting new thread. Sorry guys.
ok so its been awhile since i have done anyhting like this. since unlocking 1.0.2. OK I have tmobile. I was reading the guides but i got so confused. What steps or guides do i need to do and in what order. whats the highest upgrade i can do? i am thinking its 1.1.2. I know there are newer upgrades but i dont want to force it. If anyone can help please let me know. Sorry again about the new thread.
