Problem Downgrading from 2.0 to 1.1.4

Hey after I do all the steps and i reach the point where i old down shift and click restore on iTunes. I click on the 1.1.4 update and after a while I get a error. I dont remember what the error says but i know the error number is 1050. Now whenever i have my iphone on it shows a picture of the iTunes logo and the USB cord. Any help? THANKS!
