new to iphone moding

im pretty confused and noob about all this iphone jailbreaking thing i understand you need to do it in order to add apps to your iphone
so far i had my iphone for about 3 months and i had 1.1.0 , then upgraded to 1.1.1 , then i think accidently upgraded to 1.1.2 , I really appreate if someone can help a noob out on getting apps on my iphone because i read some instructions and its kind of confusing to me. Thank You

i got a pc ... thanks for a reply . i read through a lot of things but honestly its kinda like gibberish to me like i used to mod psp that was childplay compared this haha
