I tried everything, but my iPhone just wont let me jailbreak or activate it. I do have the AT&T SIM installed and used jailbreakme.com. It quickly made a soft-boot and I got access to it. But installer was not there. I again called the website and installed installer again what was successful this time. I installed BSD, SSH and any SIM successfully.
But everytime I boot it up it asks for activation. anySim did not work as it won't accept my SIM. Also when I check for jailbreak it says that jailbreaking has failed. Of course activating fails even iDemocracy says it may have been successful. I'm on 1.1.1. with 04.01.13_G. But what's wrong here
if you downgraded to 1.1.1 from 1.1.2 to jailbreak it you wont receive any service. you will need to install OkToPrep and upgrade to 1.1.2 and jailbreak that. you can follow my guide at this site:
The provided guide did not help anything at all. Also I do not want to upgrade to 1.1.2 like everyone here (and then fail). The problem is that 1.1.1 on my phone cannot be jailbreaked as well as it is still not activated and still sim-locked. I tried several ways but none was helpful. Any time I check with phuc it says that jailbreaking was not successful. What can I do that jailbreaking is possible (and yes, it has the old bootloader on it). To summarize :
- I'm on 1.1.1 with 04.01.13g
- AT&T SIM is installed
- I do have access to the phone (not only emergency calls)
- The activation message always appears when starting up
- jailbreakme.com installes appSnap and reboots
- activation message still appears
- installing and running anySim 1.1
- inserting another SIM the phone says it is not supported.
