11-18-2007, 01:48 AM #1Hey, what do you guys think I should do?
Alrighty, I got my iPhone and had it unlocked/jailbreak when I first got it a few months ago. It's still on 1.0.2. It has worked for me ever since so i never bothered updating.
I saw that the new 1.1.2 has better stability appwise and also better quality for the speaker.
So let's say if I want to update to 1.1.2; do I just do the update firmware on iTunes and then run the one step process to jailbreak it? Can someone just list what I need to do? and will I lose all my contacts/files/pictures/etc. if I do this?
If so, I'll just keep it on 1.0.2.

personally, i would goto 1.1.1 and get it unlocked there and stay there. I am not unlocked but I am jailbroken on 1.1.2 and it is not as stable (but faster) than 1.1.1. My apps crash WAY more often than before (I do not know if it is Summerboard or anything else) but all my apps crash much more frequently requiring me to reboot. goto 1.1.1 and you can get what you want
my 2 cents
Rippey 1.1.2 outta jail
