Hi, just joined the forum and found loads of useful information.
However, i've got a problem I can't figure out.
Had my iphone for a couple of weeks and decided to jailbreak. Finally got it to work with ziphone and started playing with some new apps. On the advice of a website I installed BSD subsystem. Now my iphone cannot comunicate with itunes through the USB lead.
Basically I need to know how to either get my phone to comunicate with my pc or to completely restore my iphone back to original so the USB lead will work.
Any advice welcome.

BSD subsystem has nothing to do with iTunes communication. It is a program that allows you to install other apps that access integral system files. It sounds to me like you messed with more than BSD if iTunes won't recognize your phone anymore.

Thanks for your reply. I think itunes still recognised my phone after i jailbroke?! it although i'm not sure now. My pc doesn't even recognise it at all now and it doesn't charge from the usb port but it does if i plug it into the mains charger.
Can you think of anyway i can reset or de-jailbeak it without a pc connection? I've tried a reset pressing both buttons then releasing one.

Really wishing I hadn't buggered around with it now.

Ooh, hang on. Just plugged it into an old pc and it can see it. looks like i might have a problem with my usb ports. I really hope that's what it is.

Plug into old pc...and RESTORE and start over.
