Updating my 1.3 to 1.4 so third party sofware avalible BUT:

when i open the installer is shows that all the previous softwares still installed.

i try to "remove" them, some of them can be removed but some others i think it cant find their location..

How i can reset the installer to begin a fresh new start?

Restore in iTunes and rejailbreak. then plug back into iTunes and set the phone up as NEW.. not from back-up. Then resync all your stuff.

what is the recommand software for jb?

i use ziphone right now but there was problems with the signal and i cant made calles even when i installed bricktool.

after i intalled geohot it worked fine..

I use iLibery (www.theiphoneproject.org). Safer than Ziphone and more features.
