Check the guide on this site on installing ssh on 1.1.1. At the end it tells you the commands to fix the 300mb issue. Basically, you're deleting the Media directory you created prior to upgrading, and renaming the Media.old back to Media again.

Correction, it's in the guide for installing BSD Subsystem.

    "Step 4
While you're connected, issue a few commands to regain syncability with iTunes. In the winSCP terminal window (ctrl+t) type the following commands:

    rm /var/root/Media
    mv /var/root/Media.old /var/root/Media
Note: This will fix iTunes saying your iPhone's capacity is 300mb."

Hmm, not sure. I'm on windows and not real familiar with mac. You would need to use whatever SSH client you used to connect to your iPhone during the jailbreak. It has to have a terminal interface though. THen issue those commands and you should be good after a reboot. Again, not real familiar with mac though. Sorry.
