hi revan, hope you can help me. i have successfully completed phases 1 to 3.5 three times, one with at&t sim card, one with no sim at all, and one with my own sim card. still, i have no wifi and a corrupt IMEI.

phase 2.5 doesn't seem to do anything at all even though it successfully completes.

please help me, i'm getting desperate.

Jeronimorv....how did you do Step 2? Do you have the Savour Pack?

revan, I'm now at the same point as jeronimorv....i finally got the Saviour Pack and have done phases 1-3.5 but no luck restoring my corrupt IMEI. any advice?

i followed this guide completely but i didnt upgrade to v1.1.1. but now when i try to sync my iphone, itunes gives me an error "attempting to copy to the disk failed. the disk could not be read or written to."

Really good method for upgrading to 1.1.1 here:

Works on 1.0.2 phones already bricked after upgrading to 1.1.1. Will unbrick your phone and leave you running 1.1.1 unlocked.
No knowledge of the terminal needed. All done through the installer application.
Worked for me.
Make sure you're not running itunes 7.5 though, re-install an older version.

Hey guys, I'm lost on what to do next.....

I've tried every method I can find out there among the thousands of posts and dozens of walk-throughs but nothing seems to work and I believe I'm not alone.

Here's my situation:
- Bought a v1.1.1 phone
- successfully jailbreak'd it and anysim'd it using the iphone.unlock.no method. was working fine for several days
- installed some app which caused me to get the invalid SIM error
- tried several recovery methods but finally realized that downgrading phone and baseband to try and recover was my only option
- successfully downgraded to v1.0.2 and baseband 3.14.08.
- successfully jailbroke again with ibrickr/AppTappInstaller/etc

However, my problem remains:
- bad IMEI 04999xx
- no wifi
- no bluetooth
- invalid SIM error

does all this work with mac OS X is is this a Windows fix? Also can this be done successfully with a restored v1.0.2 iphone that was unlocked - accidently upgraded to v1.1.1 - now restored to v1.0.2 with baseband still v1.1.1?

Please say yes it does and but me on the track to a working iphone that makes phone calls!?

Hi all,
I've an iphone original 1.0.2 that was unlocked. Now afetr virginize, due to the fact that I was not able to use independence 1.2.5 (I have leopard installed). I updated my iphone to to 1.1.1. and tried to use the unlocked without PC metod. It doesn't run. Please can someone tell me hao can I come back to the 1.0.2 baseband? Thanks a lot.
