hi, i'm also gettin 0049 imei and no wifi, i've done all steps with at&t sim inside, please help.

Im guessing you get the same error as I did when installing fw 1.0.2.
take out the at&t sim, uninstall itunes, reinstall it, and then install the FW1.0.2, you should then be able to complete.

this is how it worked for me, took nearly 2 hours of google searching the error code to find this solution.

That usually means that you have successfully wiped your baseband and are ready to flash it back down (virginize)

is the unlock.app bottom bar suppose to be all white all the time, cause i am not sure if it is working or not....it kind of interrupt itself a couple of times where it just quickly goes to "running bbupdater" or something like that (it was too fast, i couldn't say)...then goes back to springboard....i can't even see my IMEI number in my settings->general->about....nor do i have a baseband when i do bbupdater -v....should i run restore and do the steps over again?

Yes!! It never hurts to start over form the beginning if you encounter an error - I had to do it many times - if you are unsure, just start over and follow the directions from the beginning.

Now that I'm not sure about....everywhere that I've read says that if you screw up or run into problems to just simply start over - I've never started over with a screwed up IMEI though cause mine never got jacked....not really sure what to tell ya...you could try it and post your results...but like I said, I've never had to do it that way cause my IMEI was ok...

Would i be able to restore a OTB 1.1.2 iPhone from iTunes with an unactivated phone, following these same instructions and having downloaded the 1.1.1 firmware to my computer?

I don't think anyone has tested these tutorials yet for a 1.1.2 phone....most likely you would be one of the first and we would love for you to try it and let us know what happens :-)

Phase 3 :: Fix your corrupt seczone and reversing anySIM/iUnlock mess-ups!

1. Download the latest virginizer_pack here:
   

   http://www.modmyi.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1250

2. Unzip it and extract the folder on your C:
3. Copy the "verginizer_pack" directory to your iPhone's /usr/bin/.
4. Use MobileTerminal or SSH to change to the "virginizer_pack" directory.
   

   cd /usr/bin/virginizer_pack

5. Give "virginator.sh" permission to execute:
   

   chmod +x virginator.sh

6. Execute virginator.sh and follow the prompts:
   

   ./virginator.sh

7. Follow the respective instructions.

If errors occur they will be saved in "error.log" in the virginizer_pack directory.

I'm stuck in phase 3!!! I followed the instructions and all went well.

I read somewhere in the forums if you reinstall fw 1.0.2 with out a base band the restor will fix it for you.
