volume icon keeping popping out.

i'd this problem of the volume icon (Yes, the icon when you adjust yr volume), it keep popping up every now & then, & it'll stay there for some time before it disappear.
anyone encounter this problem?

yeah i get that too, i havn't asked yet about it tho...im on the old firmware not 1.1.1...what r u on?

weird isn't it? it just pops up and like goes away lol

i'm on 1.0.2
i'm trying to do a V-restore in 1.0.2 then upgrade to 1.1.1, & again back to 1.0.2.
will see if the problem still remains.

Do you have the native app 'Ants' installed? If 'Yes' then remove it.

Yes, I've tested it on multiple phones having installed Ants, after uninstalling the Sound Icon doesn't keep popping anymore.

Thanks for all the fast respone.
For my case, the problem occurs when I've 'Ants' install, I tried to do a restore & the problem still remains!
now I did a V-restore in 1.0.2 then upgrade to 1.1.1 , followed by a downgrade back to 1.0.2
unlock it & the problem still remains even w/o 'Ants' installed.
any solution for my case?
Mine can't even adjust the volume, the icon will just stay there!

in case this is still an open issue...

I had the same problems with the volume icon under 1.1.4 -> jailbroken, but no ANTS or anything else installed. It sometimes pops up, sometimes it doesn't.

Now with 2.0.1 -> jailbroken it still pops up...but until now (15min usage) only 2 times. let's see. maybe it will stop

I would be happy if somebody has a solution for this annoying bug.

ok, now the icon doesn't pop up anymore with 2.0.1.
hope it doesn't come up again after installing apps or rebooting etc.

this would be an awesome result!!! :-)
