iTunes NOT recognizing iPhone after upgrade to 1.1.1!

Hi all,

I just started on my way through the guide to upgrade to a jailbroken 1.1.1 iphone. I installed the symlink and file via installer, ands then just upgraded as usual. Problem is, I'm, getting the "Activate iPhone - Connect to iTunes" message on my phone,a nd iTunes doesn't recognize it! What do I do?

do u have a spare iphone? if u do plug that one in and remove it after that just plug yours back in.

had a similar problem...ur AppleMobileDeviceService.exe is not working properly. Reinstall cleanly and u should be fine (clean as in remove all traces in the user folder in vista or ur profile name folder under docs&settings in xp)

I just had the same problem. All i did was hold down the home and the top button for 25 secs, (restore). Then it worked fine.

Nope, don't try the restore at this point, you have to downgrade to 1.0.2 again
