iphone to tv
have verizon iphone 4s ios 6.1.2 evasion jailbreak. bought this cable to run video from phone to tv. It depends on what you got. I bought a cheap HDMI adapter for 4 and 4s, it mirrors the retina screen on my TV.
Normally only apps that show video have to be on and running before they send the output to the TV. This includes the native video player, plex, vlc streamer, and VLC amigo.

thanks for your input. also bought cheap cables, but it seams apple has eliminated tv out support, downloaded tv out from cydia works fine now
