iPhone jailbreak?

I've been away from iPhone for a long time now I have tried searching google but haven't seen anything straight forward ..

Does anyone know the status of the iPhone 5 jailbreak cause I don't think I can take a whole month of a stock iPhone ..coming from android makes it very tough to get used to stock ios

They saying when 6.1 comes out they may release it. Who knows
