iPhone 5 call failed

All day today when ever I tried to make a call it would say call failed. I can send messages and get on the Internet with no problem but I can not dial out and people said it goes straight to voicemail when the tried calling me.
Also, my phone has been switching over to no service randomly at times, is anyone else having these problems or know a fix? I'm with AT&T

Try one of these Options:

- Reboot your phone.
- Setting - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings.
- Setting - General - Date & Time - Set Automatically is OFF
- Setting - Phone - Show My Caller ID is OFF
