Yep just unlocked my CDMA iPhone 4s today and just sold it for $550 I had no problem unlocking just take the sim out if it's not working and reboot until it works. I had to reboot twice and my simple mobile sim works fine mms data and calls all work perfect."You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not"

He's definetly on iOS 5.0+ since it's a 4S so his baseband is definetly newer. He probably used the Gevey Ultra S.I will no longer be very active here anymore due to a variety of reasons.

Ive got a Sprint iPhone 4S bad esn.
Modem firmware 02.0.12
1. Do I need to hacktivate?
2. Where can someone recommend a quality Gevey S CDMA?
3. What repos do I add in Cydia?
How does the process work... I plan on using AT&T. I bought the 4S on Ebay for $250 knowing it had a bad esn. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

1.)If your iPhone is passed the "setup your iPhone" part it means your iPhone 4s is already activated. Also that means you can jailbreak it cause WCDMA and CDMA need to be jailbroken to unlock.
2.) you can buy a real gevey ultra S for CDMA, WCDMA, and GSM from
eBay from a seller name e-vender its only $27 and it's fast shipping(not promoting just where I bought my sim from and I've just bought one) Make sure you buy the one it says "Multi-Network Gevey Ultra S for WCDMA CDMA and GSM"!
3.) you add the repo cydia.furiousmod.com/ and install the package for 5.1.1 for CDMA.
After you unlock your iPhone 4s you'll be able to use it with AT&T T-Mobile Red Pocket H2O Simple Mobile Straight Talk etc. So yes your Sprint with bad ESN will work after the unlock good buy
I attached a picture so you can see the eBay seller's name his legit you can also see I bought one already"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not"

Thank You MXCO I have ordered a Gevey and I will update on how the unlock works.
Ive read there are some packages to install. One question Ive heard that the 64K simcard will not work, however the 128K simcard will? Confusing but I'll just have to try it out and see what happens. Anyways thank you for your help!
