Is it possible to reinstall cydia? Running 5.0.1 can't seem to restore to previous back up wants to upgrade to new firmware.

    Try re-running absinthe...cant say for sure it will work though...

    Btw, do you have Mobile Terminal installed on the phone?

    Tried that it says already jail broken and no ssh installed my stupid!

    Deleted with cydia all that appears is power center pro, intelliscreenx and activator which does nothing

    You cant delete spingboard with cydia...but It really looks like that phone is screwed, youll have to restore

    Ah but if I restore the firm ware up dates and hence cannot jailbreak right?

    Could you not just wipe the phone manually through the phone then restore from last back up or just sync you may miss some text messages or some thing but you will keep you apps and ect then rejailbreak?
