    How can I edit my location on my weather LS to where my city name isn't cut off?

    you're either gonna have to decrease the font of the City Name or move it in whatever direction to make it fit

    look for a code along the lines of "#cityname" or something, and inside the body of that code should be a code for "left" or "right"

    adjust that accordingly

    I searched via iFile and there's nothing relating to what you advised. I saw lots of 'city' places but I couldn't figure out which one would change the font and/or the positioning of my city name. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    It means changing the code, which weather widget or theme are you using? Perhaps posting in that thread or emailing the creator would help more if you are unfamiliar with it.

    This may work also.

    ok buddy, I just installed this HT Weather Widget 1.75 on my phone and did a test run for you...

    in your HTC Weather ..theme. go to Private/StyleSheets and open up myopiaAlt, then look for this:

    Code:
    #city{
    	position:absolute;
    	top:162px;
    	left:20px;
    	color: #d1d1d1;
    	text-shadow: 0px 1px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7);
    	/*text-shadow: #FFFFFF 0px 1px 0px;*/
    	font-size: 18px;
    	font-weight: bold;
    }
    now either decrease the font-size or decrease the top or left values accordingly, and bam viola!

    I hope its the right widget you're using

    Wow I don't know whether to say thank you bro or thank you babes since Idk ur real name

    You have done A LOT to help and I apologize bc it didn't help. Idk why....the font decreased/increased with what was posted as my city name, (the missing letters never appeared nor did any letters disappear) and the 'top' and 'left' areas didn't change much either so I returned them to as they were before.

    Any other suggestions?

    I am he nor she, living nor dead, but me

    because the widget is free and not paid or anything, send me the whole widget, and I will test it on my phone, but here's what I need to make sure we get to the bottom of this!

    1. Send me the whole widget including what you modified, leave everything the way you have it.
    2. Tell me what part of the code you modified, and the result of it.
    3. Post some screenshots and indicate the issue

    If you do those 3 things, I will be able to solve it......................................I think

    I was saying Idk your name so I wasn't certain how to thank ya properly.

    For some ***-*** reason, only one pic would upload....stuuupid lol.

    Everything is as it is.....nothing has changed.

    The issue I'm having is: My cities name isn't appearing fully. I've done as you've advised without any positive progress.

    I hope what little I've given you will help.

    I don't mean to take you away from any time you may have set aside for other activities.

    Thank you again....so much.

    Lucas.

    why is part of my response blocked out? oh....censorship....so stupid. nobody should tell us how to speak.

    haha! After testing it with your city code, I finally knew what you were talking about, I thought u meant something else

    is this what you're lookin for??

    Go to your LockBackground.html file and found the code:
    Code:
    city.substring(0,11)
    What that code means is that the city name is fetched from the weather's database and returns the name of the city, but only returns 12 characters of it. Its because the position of a string starts at index 0 and errr umm...........sorry hahaha forgot (java code experience)

    to make the long story short, the weather only displayed 12 characters in your city name, including spaces so thats why it got cut off, change 11 to 20 and respring and it should be ok

    I dont accept any monetary donations, just "pay it forward" ok???
