My fairly new iPhone 4 on Verizon does connect to wireless at my work but not to the Belkin wireless at home, despite entering the correct password. Any suggestions?

I suggest changing the Belkin wireless encryption and test. WiFi devices incorporate various encryption mechanisms (WPA, WEP, WEP2, TPIK, PSK, etc). Early devices implemented one, newer ones a lot more. Some/many have automatic fail overs and fall backs. The iPhone automatically switches as necessary. Note: All WiFi connected devices must also be changed.

This is a common network corruption in jailbroken iOS 4 devices. Do a full DFU restore to resolve the problem in the long run. Attempting to 'fix' the router will not do anything, or only apply a temporary fix.

I have not seen this common network 'corruption' issue. Please provide sources?

Edit: I totally agree if the iPhone will not connect to any WiFi
