lost verizon iphone4, quick question
can the verizon iphone 4 be blacklisted?? i want to know because i have not gotten a clear answer from from verizon reps. i got one answer saying no they couldn't and then another answer said absolutely because the verizon iphone is "different and isnt jailbreakable" according to the next representative. anyone have any clarification on this?

Don't know if it can be blacklisted or not but a little funny how they say you can't jailbreak it.

well stolen. i'll consider it lost for the time being but its still under my number as of now. thats why i want to get it blacklisted. but yeah, sad day. good thing for insurance.

I have a friend that works for Verizon wireless. They can put the Esn number in a stolen file so it cant be used, but most reps don't know how to do it.
You can suspend the phone but as soon as you change the Esn/meid on your account. It will free it up to be used on another account. Also if you have insurance on your phone make sure you call before you change to a replacement phone. The insurance company can only see the current Esn/meid on the account and will send you a what us on your account.
