Thread: Verizon Antennagate............
02-25-2011, 12:07 PM #1Verizon Antennagate............
I absolutely believe that they did not fix the antenna issue.
Here's where Apple wins and loses at the same time.
They build a device that's so beautiful in design that it is not
practical for everyday use by humans.
It needs to be looked at in a glass case, never touched and oogled at in museums.
So ...with that........ one drop and it's over...one hand and it's covered in grease.......... one scrape and the stainless
side band is forever ugly.
So......we cover the phone with plastic sheeting and all sorts of
rubber bumpers and covers to protect it from that one drop.
And....you know it's gonna happen!!!!
So anyone not using a case for their iphone 4 is doomed and a small percentage... I'm sure.
That's why the antenna issue really does not matter.
You'd really be a fool to NOT protect that device.
And after owning the Verizon iphone for a week......it is the best device available on the market today. Kenny S

Yes it is a great phone to use and it is beautiful at that. No phone is perfect however look at what the iPhone has to offer.... a lot!

lol that's true.
I remember the days when huge flip phones that you can drop from anywhere onto anything were popular haha
but iphone's have so much to offer, i don't mind putting on a case to protect it.

Yeah, I do sometimes miss the look of the iPhone with no case. I'm going to get a clear case.

i have no issue's with it at all.

I always use a case anyway for any of my iPhones. I'm switching to front/back protectors and a bumper, so either way it's fine. People who go case-less must really trust themselves not to drop the phone. I am careful but accidents always happen so better safe than sorry. So a case fixes the problem, no big deal. At least it's not a problem for me.

Otter Box is the way to go, so worth protecting your investment. 50 bucks to cover a $300 phone seems to be a no brainer.

I like my phone like I like my wife, naked.
Never had a problem with either. He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
