Need advice on activating my Verizon Iphone

Hey Everyone,
Think I just scored a needle in a haystack.
Just bought a Verizon iphone 4 16G 10 days old with everything
including the original receipt from someone who upgraded and wanted a new puppy instead.
I'm not sure she knew what Verizon charges for the outright purchase of the phone.649.00 + tax! I got it for 475.00

Anyhoo....I have a month left on my att 3g phone .
Is there a way to use my new iphone 4 on wifi while I wait a month
for my ATT contract to end?
The ver phone is currently locked, needing to be activated.
Can i set it up as another phone on my computer without having the phone or 3G working?

U gotta jailbreak it and u can't use it

You can use it.... you just can't get on the 3g network and make calls.
