Will insurance be from apple or verizon?

I've has my iPods damaged to no remorse from apple, but when my verizon phone breaks it gets replaced for practically
free. Will the verizon iphone do this?

As far as insurance goes, you have to do that through a 3rd party as far as I know. With AT&T or Apple there is no insurance, just your warranty. I'm betting it will be the same with Verizon.

Yep, usually you can find a squaretrade special (30% off) and pick up a 3rd party warranty that covers accidental. It's unlikely that Verizon or Apple will offer it.

Chances are you won't get the same insurance you're thinking of.

Let me explain why:
It's far too convenient for people to get "robbed" of their iPhone and mysteriously end up with $600 in their bank account.

This isn't that big of a problem with other smartphones with such a low demand, but with the iPhone when you have millions of owners, it is a huge issue.

You'll have to go through Square Trade.
